Zendaya showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a dazzling gown as she arrived at Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner in New York City on Sunday.
The actress, 27, brought her fashion A-game as she wore a breathtaking vintage John Galliano gown, from his 1998 ‘Haute Bohemia’ collection for the party which was held at Anna’s apartment.
The figure hugging semi-sheer backless white dress featured a mesh top with pretty pink ʙuттerfly embellishments.
The Dune star paired the look with stylish stiletto white heels and opted for a rosy makeup look.
Zendaya wore her light brunette tresses loose in a voluminous, bouncy blowout hairstyle as she stepped out of her vehicle and arrived at the NYC apartment.
At one point, the Euphoria alum was seen taking a moment to stop and chat with her fans as well as sign autographs despite the downpour.
She seemed in good spirits as she was joined for the evening by her stylist Law Roach.
Zendaya is one of the co-chairs for this year’s Costume Insтιтute Gala along with Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, who were also present.
The Costume Insтιтute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year the event is тιтled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.
The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Insтιтute’s permanent collection – with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.
The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea, and sky.
‘It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,’ said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Insтιтute, of the upcoming exhibition.
‘One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.’
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham are hosting while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.
Last year’s gala honored late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
